Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in health, biotech, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Proven experience developing and presenting strategic social media plans across channels like Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • Strong understanding of both organic and paid social media content.
  • Experience growing social media business with existing clients and participating in new business pitches.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members.
  • In-depth knowledge of FDA and FTC regulations for social media in the biotech and pharma industries.
  • Experience in client service within an agency environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within integrated teams.
  • Skill with social monitoring and measurement tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing, or communications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead in creating top-notch social strategies and content plans, ensuring feedback, strategic consultation and social media management is done to a high level.
  • Guide clients and teams on social media strategies and issues, providing insights before implementation.
  • Act as the primary social media subject matter expert, providing insight around platform capabilities, specifications, and functionalities.
  • Develop new approaches, ideas, and services to expand the agency's social media and strategy capabilities.
  • Lead teams through social listening initiatives.
  • Support omnichannel and engagement strategy by promoting social media's alignment into the client's omnichannel mix.
  • Counsel clients and teams on best practices for organic and paid social media execution across major channels.
  • Monitor and analyze latest digital marketing trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
