Requirements
- 7+ years of experience at a senior level in software engineering, application security, cloud/infrastructure/network security, and infrastructure operations.
- Hands-on experience across dev, sec, and ops.
- Technical proficiency in Shell, Python, Go, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with a major cloud provider, ideally GCP.
- Proven background in scaling environments that manage high-volume financial transactions.
- Experience maintaining compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2 Type 2, HITRUST, or PCI standards.
- Ability to influence others and drive security goals across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work independently in a distributed, remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure computing environments remain stable, fast, and available during high-traffic periods.
- Optimize and automate CI/CD pipelines to facilitate daily production releases.
- Own automated security tooling within the development pipeline and provide risk visibility.
- Manage infrastructure security including vulnerability management, network architecture, pen testing, and intrusion detection.
- Route security events to the SIEM system.
- Create and maintain an inherently safe and high-performance development environment.
