Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of twelve years cross-functional experience in managing the procurement process, vendors, and contracts at the Director or Manager level.
- Expertise in IT Hardware, Software, Telecom and related services.
- Proven experience in developing RF(x)s for indirect materials.
- Prior experience interfacing with clients and stakeholders in a services industry.
- Strong project management skills to ensure on-time delivery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analytical tasks.
- Ability and flexibility to travel up to 5% to clients and suppliers.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Experience with e-sourcing software (e.g., SAP Ariba) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT hardware, software, and services to meet client objectives.
- Analyze client spend and procurement processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and cost.
- Manage and deliver large-scale, multi-client RF(x) projects using sourcing software.
- Negotiate pricing and service agreements applying company methodology.
- Foster and maintain relationships with the national vendor marketplace.
- Advise internal and client stakeholders on vendor performance and total spend management.
- Maintain supplier management structures for vetting, monitoring, and auditing.
- Deliver presentations and provide subject matter expertise to client teams.
