Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training demonstrating MA III competencies.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a medical office.
  • Prior experience in a physician’s office or customer service environment.
  • CPR-Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly.
  • Typing speed of 25+ words per minute.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to online inquiries and incoming calls to ensure timely patient access to care.
  • Deliver high-level service to both patients and referring providers.
  • Work closely with physicians, care teams, and medical practices to coordinate patient care.
  • Apply clinical and administrative knowledge to support the prescription refill line.
  • Maintain a seamless and positive healthcare experience for all patients.
