Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training demonstrating MA III competencies.
- 3+ years of experience working in a medical office.
- Prior experience in a physician’s office or customer service environment.
- CPR-Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly.
- Typing speed of 25+ words per minute.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Respond to online inquiries and incoming calls to ensure timely patient access to care.
- Deliver high-level service to both patients and referring providers.
- Work closely with physicians, care teams, and medical practices to coordinate patient care.
- Apply clinical and administrative knowledge to support the prescription refill line.
- Maintain a seamless and positive healthcare experience for all patients.
