Requirements
- 6+ years of configuration experience with Workday HCM including business process framework, security, and general system administration.
- 3+ years leading an HRIS team.
- Expertise in at least three additional Workday functional areas (Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Talent & Performance, Time Tracking, Payroll, etc.).
- Mastery of report writing, calculated fields, and EIBs.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and drive system implementation and enhancement projects.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex cross-functional processes clearly.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems quickly, and work independently.
- Ability to evaluate new vendors and products to bring meaningful ROI.
Responsibilities
- Participate in People Team Leadership meetings to ensure clear communication on project timelines and dependencies.
- Provide technical and functional leadership for the design and configuration of Workday and ancillary systems.
- Collaborate with People Team, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Configure, test, validate, and implement changes in Workday, ensuring technical integrity and maintenance.
- Create and maintain documentation for systems procedures and user guides.
- Manage and develop a team of analysts, setting objectives aligned with company strategy.
- Implement HRIS best practices and identify automation opportunities.
- Adhere to public company-ready ITGCs and business process controls.
