Job Details

Experience: 2–3+ years

Requirements

Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT, CVT, RVT) certification.
2–3+ years of clinical experience in small animal veterinary medicine.
Experience in emergency or specialty medicine is a plus.
Proficiency with digital tools, including telehealth platforms, EMRs, and chat systems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for client education.
Professional home workspace with reliable internet connection (>100mb down/up, <10ms latency).
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
Comfortable sitting or standing at a computer for extended periods.
Availability during daytime Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preference given to candidates available Sunday through Thursday.

Responsibilities

Connect with pet owners via EMR messaging to provide support, education, and guidance.
Handle EMR tasks including refill approvals, prescription requests, and async case reviews.
Verify and process prescriptions in coordination with partner pharmacies.
Resolve pharmacy holds and communicate updates to doctors and clients.
Monitor shared veterinary admin communications and assist with doctor coverage.
Collaborate with team members to provide feedback on processes, systems, and workflows.
Contribute to training, telehealth initiatives, and compliance efforts.
