Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine.
- Active board certification in Family Medicine.
- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience post-residency.
- Active medical licenses in at least one of CA, TX, or FL, plus 5 additional state licenses.
- Eligibility for expedited licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) in 5 additional states.
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
- Availability to work weekends and assigned holidays.
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements for supervising Advanced Practice Providers.
- Comfort navigating telehealth platforms and EMR systems.
- Reliable high-speed internet access.
Responsibilities
- Dedicate at least 36 patient contact hours per week to providing care via text, phone, and video.
- Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning.
- Manage and coordinate care for chronic conditions and provide preventive care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications.
- Document communications accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Serve as a collaborating physician for Nurse Practitioners including chart review and consultation.
- Participate in clinical quality and process improvement initiatives.
