Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Current, unrestricted medical license and active board certification in Family Medicine.
- Minimum 5 years of post-residency clinical practice experience.
- Active medical licenses in at least one of the following: CA, TX, or FL, plus 5 additional state licenses.
- Eligibility for expedited licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) in 5 additional states preferred.
- Understanding of regulatory and documentation requirements for physician collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers.
- Ability to manage high volumes of patient interactions via telehealth platforms.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and comfort with AI-driven clinical technology.
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required.
- Reliable high-speed internet access.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning for patients.
- Manage and coordinate care for chronic conditions and provide preventive wellness counseling.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Serve as a collaborating physician for assigned Nurse Practitioners, providing oversight, chart review, and mentorship.
- Document patient encounters, tasks, and communications accurately in the EMR system.
- Meet established performance standards related to patient satisfaction, documentation, and clinical quality metrics.
