Requirements
- 10+ years in biotech/pharma drug development, with significant time in program or portfolio management.
- Direct experience taking a program through late-stage development and to approval or commercialization.
- Deep, hands-on command of the drug-development process including clinical, regulatory, CMC, nonclinical, finance, and legal.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs and influence senior executives without direct authority.
- Genuinely AI-native, with extensive experience using AI tools for daily work and dashboard/tool creation.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and executive-presentation skills.
- Experience preparing board- or investor-facing materials is a plus.
- Experience supporting business development, corporate development diligence, or alliance management is a plus.
- Oncology experience and familiarity with small-molecule/PI3K/AKT/mTOR programs are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a single, authoritative view of timelines, milestones, dependencies, and the critical path across all functions.
- Proactively surface roadblocks, slippage, and information affecting timelines to the ELT and C-suite.
- Design and own the governance model, including core team cadence, stage gates, and decision rights.
- Partner with functional leaders to frame strategic choices and prepare materials for executive decision-making.
- Leverage AI tools to compress administrative tasks and improve communication, reporting, and dashboarding.
- Track program-level budget and resources in partnership with Finance and Clinical Operations.
- Quarterback business development execution by coordinating diligence and deal readiness.
- Establish organizational tools, templates, and operating rhythms for program management.
