Requirements
- 12+ years of professional experience.
- 8+ years of fundraising experience with a proven track record of closing significant gifts or partnerships preferred.
- Proven experience growing pipelines of $30M+.
- Demonstrated experience leading high-performing teams of 5+ and developing team members.
- Proven ability to build trust over long sales cycles.
- Data-informed approach to pipeline development.
- Comfort with AI, data analysis, and Excel.
- Strong prioritization framework.
- Capacity to provide actionable feedback and iterate on strategies.
- Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time, both nationally and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap, vision, and execution of scaling donations across individual and institutional channels.
- Drive a major influx of capital from high-net-worth donors while overseeing the broader individual donor funnel.
- Partner with program teams to scale work across strategic foundations and major institutions.
- Oversee the organization's brand voice, narrative, and communications strategy.
- Manage donor analytics infrastructure and reporting.
- Supervise a team of 10 employees.
- Serve on the executive leadership team for the organization.
- Act as a spokesperson in donor meetings, press interviews, and conferences.
- Train team members on best practices in fundraising and relationship management.
- Establish and optimize systems including donor pipelines and Salesforce tooling.
