Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent applicable experience.
  • 5+ years in a SaaS Account Executive role.
  • Salesforce or equivalent CRM experience.
  • Highly proficient computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Prominent organization and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of drones, cloud, and virtualization technology.
  • Willingness to travel 60% or more within the assigned territory.
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end sales processes: prospecting, discovery, objection handling, and closing.
  • Focus on a solutions/consultative sales process.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to build a new territory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep technical understanding of Axon’s Air products and technology to sell into domestic law enforcement agencies.
  • Partner with the broader Axon sales team as a functional expert on the Air program.
  • Generate leads using resources such as Google alerts and RFP requests.
  • Build a contact network and establish relationships with senior public safety leaders.
  • Execute account strategy, deliver value propositions, and manage complex, high-impact engagements.
  • Make forecast predictions, track customer activity in Salesforce, and collect competitor intelligence.
  • Provide feedback to marketing for product and strategy improvement.
