Requirements
- Senior-level manual testing experience with high agency and ability to work independently.
- Prior experience working with language models (LLMs).
- Understanding of how LLMs generate responses and how to iterate on prompts for accuracy.
- Data literacy with experience analyzing backend schemas.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills for identifying bugs alongside backend engineers.
- Fluent and proactive communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously without day-to-day direction.
Responsibilities
- Validate that the chat interface accurately understands user intent and that LLM responses are precise.
- Define and own the end-to-end testing strategy as the sole QA engineer on the project.
- Participate in daily scrums to report behaviors and status updates.
- Collaborate directly with backend developers to troubleshoot data and schema issues and retest fixes.
- Create clear, logical, and well-structured QA documentation and test plans.
