Requirements
- 7+ years of professional Quality Engineering / QA experience in modern software products.
- Demonstrable depth in both manual and automation testing.
- Experience designing test cases, plans, and strategies for non-trivial systems.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test suites in production-grade CI environments.
- Strong experience with at least one modern UI automation tool (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium).
- Experience with at least one API testing approach (Postman, REST clients, RestAssured, Supertest).
- CI/CD fluency with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Programming proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals: risk-based testing, exploratory testing, and regression strategy.
- Excellent written and spoken English proficiency.
- Experience using AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) for test design and automation.
Responsibilities
- Define test strategies based on product risk, release goals, and business impact.
- Influence quality upstream by reviewing requirements and designs to surface ambiguity and edge cases early.
- Execute structured exploratory testing and advocate for the user during pre-release validation.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites across UI, API, and integration layers.
- Triage and track defects, producing concise, release-quality reports for stakeholders.
- Own release validation, including smoke tests, regression suites, and enforcement of quality gates.
