Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, fulfillment network planning, or large-scale logistics program management.
- Proven track record of successfully scoping, budgeting, and deploying $5M+ greenfield or automation-heavy brownfield capital projects.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD/SketchUp for facility layout design.
- Expert-level data extraction and modeling capabilities (SQL, Power BI, Python, or discrete event simulation tools).
- Ability to influence executive stakeholders and manage project teams.
- Experience navigating complex, ambiguous cross-functional environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end launch strategies for new fulfillment centers and major retrofits.
- Manage multi-million-dollar capital expenditure budgets and negotiate with external contractors.
- Define network-wide standards for storage capacity, vertical space utilization, and layout engineering.
- Integrate advanced automation including AS/RS, robotics, and complex conveyor systems.
- Utilize AutoCAD/SketchUp for layout design integrated with predictive data analytics.
- Build predictive throughput models and Power BI/SQL frameworks to guide executive investments.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between executive leadership, operations, and automation vendors.
