Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in infrastructure and platform engineering.
- Proficiency with AWS, Terraform, MongoDB, Python, and CI/CD via GitHub Actions.
- Ability to design and develop full-stack solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement through code reviews, pairing, and problem-solving.
- Experience in agile environments.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest or Pytest.
- Experience operating in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Scaling and cyber security experience is preferable.
- Prior EdTech experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prioritize, design, and deliver technical platform solutions for cloud infrastructure, test infrastructure, shared libraries, security, and CI/CD.
- Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to identify pain points and enable faster, higher-quality delivery.
- Drive investigation and decision-making for key technology choices.
- Manage production availability by implementing observability, recovery practices, and providing on-call support.
- Mentor junior engineers and up-level the team through documentation, presentations, and design/code reviews.
- Own project delivery by defining scope, managing tickets, and tracking timelines.
