Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, fulfillment network planning, or large-scale logistics program management.
- Proven track record of scoping, budgeting, and deploying $5M+ greenfield or brownfield capital projects.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD or SketchUp for facility layout design.
- Expert-level data extraction and modeling skills (SQL, Power BI, Python, or discrete event simulation tools like FlexSim).
- Ability to influence executive stakeholders and manage high-performing project teams.
- Experience managing high-value vendor relationships and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Ability to navigate complex, ambiguous cross-functional environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end launch strategies for new fulfillment centers and major retrofits.
- Manage multi-million-dollar CapEx budgets and negotiate with automation and general contractors.
- Define network-wide standards for storage capacity, vertical space utilization, and layout engineering.
- Integrate advanced automation including AS/RS, robotics, and complex conveyor systems.
- Lead layout overhauls using CAD/SketchUp and predictive data analytics.
- Establish engineering metrics and predictive models using Power BI and SQL.
- Act as primary technical liaison between executive leadership, operations, and external vendors.
