Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably selling into physician practices, healthcare organizations, or private equity-backed healthcare groups.
- Experience with selling to or working within Ophthalmology practices.
- Minimum 2+ years of transactional selling experience.
- Demonstrated accountability and ability to independently manage sales cycles.
- Proven ability to secure access to the Executive level of practice leadership (Medical Director/Chief Physician or Board level).
- Excellent relationship building skills.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Ability to travel overnight up to 50% for territory sales, conferences, and HQ visits.
- Managerial experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed assigned quarterly and annual quotas within assigned territory.
- Prospect within territory to develop opportunities for Nextech.
- Utilize practice and site surveys to determine prospective clients’ software and system requirements.
- Demonstrate the full capabilities of Nextech software to prospective clients.
- Prepare and present price proposals and return on investment analysis to prospective clients.
- Negotiate specific contract terms within company guidelines.
- Utilize Salesforce.com to report on lead status, track sales campaigns, and provide accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts.
- Mentor new and existing sales reps and conduct periodic training classes.
