Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably selling into physician practices, healthcare organizations, or private equity-backed healthcare groups.
  • Experience with selling to or working within Ophthalmology practices.
  • Minimum 2+ years of transactional selling experience.
  • Demonstrated accountability and ability to independently manage sales cycles.
  • Proven ability to secure access to the Executive level of practice leadership (Medical Director/Chief Physician or Board level).
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen.
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 50% for territory sales, conferences, and HQ visits.
  • Managerial experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed assigned quarterly and annual quotas within assigned territory.
  • Prospect within territory to develop opportunities for Nextech.
  • Utilize practice and site surveys to determine prospective clients’ software and system requirements.
  • Demonstrate the full capabilities of Nextech software to prospective clients.
  • Prepare and present price proposals and return on investment analysis to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate specific contract terms within company guidelines.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to report on lead status, track sales campaigns, and provide accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts.
  • Mentor new and existing sales reps and conduct periodic training classes.
