Requirements
- 15+ years of Enterprise Technology experience in sales and account management within a payments organization.
- 5+ years of experience in managing teams and a track record of developing high-performing Account Executives and Account Managers.
- Experience selling complex, multi-product technology platform solutions to Enterprise customers.
- Industry expertise in Payments, Retail, Fintech, and Banking.
- Ability to influence in complex situations.
- Track record of delivering year-over-year new logo bookings and successfully expanding in-year revenue.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 5+ Account Executives and Account Managers targeting F1000 customers and prospects across key verticals.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base.
- Identify, engage, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers in enterprise organizations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to align on customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Marqeta's solutions and effectively communicate value to clients.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer pain points to refine sales strategies.
- Build a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and high-performing sales team by influencing GTM strategy, hiring, team structure, and culture.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Vetting, Delivery, GNSO, Sales Strategy and Operations, and Banking Partnerships teams.
