Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 7 years of experience in project management and the solar sector.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and develop precise work plans.
- Experience in grant management and grant processing.
- Experience organizing 1-3 hour events.
- Experience communicating directly with funders and creating concise reports.
- Experience working with consultants for capacity building and strategic communications.
- Experience working in a global matrixed team.
- Strong attention to detail and deadline management skills.
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and respond quickly to management requests.
- Commitment to the mission and values of ClimateWorks Foundation.
Responsibilities
- Lead project management of the Solar Industry Association Initiative workplan to ensure partner alignment.
- Oversee grant processing, compliance, and engagement with grantees.
- Monitor progress against workplans and provide weekly portfolio updates to funders and the core team.
- Coordinate and organize global and regional convenings, briefings, and events.
- Provide technical project management support to partner organizations and expert teams.
- Support regional leads in capacity assessment and capacity-building activities across various continents.
- Facilitate coordination between grantees and technical or communications experts.
