  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple member requests.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working productively in a remote environment.
  • Ability to work from a private, distraction-free, and HIPAA-compliant home office.
  • Wired high-speed internet connection (minimum 200 Mbps download/100 Mbps upload).
  • Adaptable and willing to participate in training to build expertise in healthcare plans and regulations.
  • Commitment to meeting quality and productivity expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to members by handling incoming calls and explaining healthcare benefits, services, and provider options.
  • Resolve member issues by identifying needs, researching information, and determining appropriate next steps or referrals.
  • Coordinate follow-up by making outbound calls to complete research or deliver status updates.
  • Maintain accurate member demographic records within the system.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and COBRA guidelines.
  • Collaborate across teams by transferring inquiries to appropriate internal or external contacts.
