  • Strong verbal communication skills to explain complex information clearly and maintain professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning new software systems.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work in a fully remote, professional, and distraction-free environment.
  • Private, HIPAA-compliant home workspace with sufficient space for dual-monitor equipment.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection with a minimum download speed of 200 Mbps.
  • Self-motivated and capable of multitasking across multiple applications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support by handling incoming calls and explaining healthcare benefits, services, and provider options.
  • Resolve member issues by identifying needs, researching information, and determining next steps.
  • Coordinate follow-up activities, including making outbound calls to complete research or provide updates.
  • Maintain accurate records by collecting and updating member demographic data in the system.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and healthcare regulations, specifically HIPAA and COBRA guidelines.
  • Collaborate across teams to transfer inquiries to appropriate internal or external contacts.
