Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, or a comparable field.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or social science field (Master's/PhD preferred).
- 3+ years coding experience with 2+ years coding specifically in R or Python.
- Advanced coding skill in Python or R.
- 1+ years of people management or people mentorship experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, and Visualizations.
- Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Effective problem solving, empathy, and leadership skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and grow three direct reports while fostering team development.
- Collaborate on complex data problems independently and as part of a team.
- Write and optimize R, Python, or SQL scripts for effective data processing.
- Adapt existing tools and methods to meet project needs and balance workloads.
- Leverage machine learning and statistical skills to inform data-driven decisions.
- Collect, aggregate, and manipulate data from multiple sources.
- Derive insights and create clear visualizations or reports.
- Engage with internal and external teams to clarify requirements and address challenges.
- Document project status and updates using tools like JIRA.
- Communicate complex findings through written reports and presentations.
