Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, or a comparable field.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or social science field (Master's/PhD preferred).
- 3+ years of total coding experience.
- 2+ years of coding experience specifically in R or Python.
- Advanced coding skill in Python or R.
- 1+ years of people management or mentorship experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, and Visualizations.
- Strong soft skills including critical thinking, attention to detail, empathy, and leadership.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and grow three direct reports and the broader Data Science team.
- Collaborate on complex problems and write or optimize R, Python, or SQL scripts for data processing.
- Adapt existing tools and methods to project needs and apply machine learning and statistical skills to inform data-driven decisions.
- Collect, aggregate, and manipulate data from multiple sources to derive insights and create reports or visualizations.
- Engage with internal and external teams to clarify requirements and develop tailored solutions.
- Document project status and updates using JIRA.
- Communicate complex findings through reports and presentations to diverse audiences.
