Requirements
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
- Fluent English speaker.
- Comfortable and highly skilled with technology.
- Available a minimum of 90 minutes a day, 3 days a week during school hours (8am-4pm ET).
- Access to a personal laptop or computer with a webcam and microphone (no Chromebooks, tablets, or smartphones).
- Ability to supply a private, quiet workspace free from distractions.
- Willingness to accept and implement ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Interest in participating in continuous professional development.
- Ability to pass a name-based national background check and state/FBI fingerprinting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare for tutoring sessions using Amplify's structured, research-based curriculum.
- Deliver engaging, literacy-focused tutoring sessions to students in grades K-8.
- Participate in ongoing coaching, feedback sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain a consistent schedule between 8am-4pm ET, including a 15-minute login prior to sessions.
- Engage with online tutor community platforms to share resources and best practices.
- Administer assessments and manage student data as required.
