  • Proven success launching and commercializing oncology products, ideally in competitive therapeutic areas such as NSCLC
  • Strong expertise in building, scaling, and developing high-performing sales organizations
  • Deep understanding of oncology market dynamics, including access, reimbursement, and key account management
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear strategic direction and field execution plans
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across marketing, training, market access, and medical teams
  • Experience working in matrixed, fast-paced biotech or specialty pharmaceutical environments
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to travel up to ~50% within the assigned multi-state territory
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, or MS) preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate in a field-based leadership capacity

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing oncology sales team (approx. 8 representatives), fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and patient-first execution
  • Design and implement territory-specific sales strategies aligned with national objectives and informed by deep market and customer insights
  • Set clear performance expectations, coach team members, and drive consistent achievement of quarterly and annual targets
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans across major health systems, oncology networks, and key regional healthcare stakeholders
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform business planning, identify growth opportunities, and optimize field execution
  • Partner closely with marketing, market access, and medical stakeholders to ensure aligned and effective commercial strategies
  • Serve as a key voice from the field, translating customer and market insights into actionable recommendations for leadership
  • Ensure compliant execution of all activities in accordance with industry regulations and internal policies
  • Oversee budget allocation and resource management across the region
  • Drive talent development, succession planning, and continuous capability building within the sales organization
