Requirements

  • BA/BS degree (MA/MS or advanced degree like MBA, PharmD, PhD preferred).
  • 12-15 years of biopharma industry experience.
  • 8-12+ years of prior experience leading an oncology sales team.
  • Proven track record of success leading product launches, ideally in the NSCLC therapeutic space.
  • Experience launching oncology products with companion diagnostics.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling sales teams from inception.
  • Experience in small to midsize biotech space.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel ~50% for meetings, training, and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and develop a best-in-class sales team, fostering a culture of exceptional performance and accountability.
  • Design and implement area-specific sales strategies aligned with brand objectives and market insights.
  • Create and communicate vision and initiatives that support corporate goals.
  • Drive team performance through clear goal setting, tailored coaching, and regular performance reviews.
  • Oversee relationships with major health systems, practice networks, and area-specific GPOs.
  • Utilize sales data and analytics to build launch plans and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with brand marketing, commercial training, and cross-functional matrix partners.
