Requirements
- BA/BS degree (MA/MS or advanced degree like MBA, PharmD, PhD preferred).
- 12-15 years of biopharma industry experience.
- 8-12+ years of prior experience leading an oncology sales team.
- Proven track record of success leading product launches, ideally in the NSCLC therapeutic space.
- Experience launching oncology products with companion diagnostics.
- Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling sales teams from inception.
- Experience in small to midsize biotech space.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel ~50% for meetings, training, and programs.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and develop a best-in-class sales team, fostering a culture of exceptional performance and accountability.
- Design and implement area-specific sales strategies aligned with brand objectives and market insights.
- Create and communicate vision and initiatives that support corporate goals.
- Drive team performance through clear goal setting, tailored coaching, and regular performance reviews.
- Oversee relationships with major health systems, practice networks, and area-specific GPOs.
- Utilize sales data and analytics to build launch plans and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with brand marketing, commercial training, and cross-functional matrix partners.
