Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required; MA/MS or advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, PhD) preferred.
  • 12-15 years of biopharma industry experience.
  • 8-12+ years of experience leading an oncology sales team.
  • Proven track record of success leading product launches, ideally in NSCLC oncology.
  • Experience launching oncology products with companion diagnostics.
  • Expertise in building and scaling sales teams from inception.
  • Proven experience in the small to midsize biotech space.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time for meetings, training, and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and develop a best-in-class sales team while fostering an accountable, patient-focused culture.
  • Design and implement area-specific sales strategies aligned with brand objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 8 Sales Representatives to exceed quarterly performance targets.
  • Manage relationships with major health systems, practice networks, and area-specific GPOs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with brand marketing and commercial training teams.
  • Utilize sales data and analytics to inform strategic decision-making and build launch plans.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer to home office leadership.
