Requirements
- BA/BS degree required; MA/MS or advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, PhD) preferred.
- 12-15 years of biopharma industry experience.
- 8-12+ years of experience leading an oncology sales team.
- Proven track record of success leading product launches, ideally in NSCLC oncology.
- Experience launching oncology products with companion diagnostics.
- Expertise in building and scaling sales teams from inception.
- Proven experience in the small to midsize biotech space.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time for meetings, training, and programs.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and develop a best-in-class sales team while fostering an accountable, patient-focused culture.
- Design and implement area-specific sales strategies aligned with brand objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of 8 Sales Representatives to exceed quarterly performance targets.
- Manage relationships with major health systems, practice networks, and area-specific GPOs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with brand marketing and commercial training teams.
- Utilize sales data and analytics to inform strategic decision-making and build launch plans.
- Serve as the voice of the customer to home office leadership.
