Requirements
- BA/BS degree required; MA/MS or advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, PhD) preferred.
- 12-15 years of biopharma industry experience.
- 8-12+ years of experience leading an oncology sales team.
- Proven track record of success leading product launches, ideally in NSCLC oncology.
- Experience launching oncology products with companion diagnostics.
- Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling sales teams from inception.
- Proven performer in highly competitive marketplaces with experience in small to midsize biotech.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft suite including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel ~50% for meetings, training, and programs.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and onboard new team members.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and develop a best-in-class sales team, cultivating a culture of exceptional performance and accountability.
- Design and implement area-specific sales strategies aligned with brand objectives and market insights.
- Create and communicate short and long-term vision and initiatives in alignment with corporate goals.
- Drive team performance by setting clear goals, providing tailored coaching, and recognizing success.
- Lead the development of quarterly business plans and skill-building initiatives.
- Oversee relationships with key area accounts and leverage internal resources to meet customer goals.
- Manage all resources within budget and participate as an active member of the sales leadership team.
- Utilize sales data and analytics to build launch plans and identify growth opportunities.
