Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in contracts management, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering commercial agreements.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating SaaS, software subscription, technology, customer, and vendor agreements.
- Experience using contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, Salesforce, Apttus, or similar CRM and contract management platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to independently draft, negotiate, review, and manage a high volume of complex commercial agreements.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Customer Success, Product, Finance, Security, and Legal.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong judgment with the ability to balance commercial objectives with legal and operational risk.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage complex commercial agreements, including SaaS, customer, partner, and vendor agreements.
- Draft custom and standard agreements, tailoring language to address business needs and contractual requirements.
- Review and respond to customer and vendor redlines, balancing business objectives with legal and commercial risk.
- Lead negotiations for customer and vendor agreements within established approval frameworks.
- Advise internal stakeholders on contract language, negotiation strategies, and company contracting policies.
- Manage contract lifecycle from intake through execution, amendment, renewal, and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate contract records and workflow status within Salesforce, Apttus, or other CLM systems.
- Lead cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance contracting operations and scalability.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools for contract review, drafting, and workflow automation.
