Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- At least 4 years of experience within a consulting firm environment.
- 6-12 years of progressive, relevant professional experience in public programming, advocacy, and/or strategic communications.
- MPH, MPA, or similar relevant graduate degree.
- Minimum 4 years of people management experience.
- Minimum 3 years of project management/leadership experience.
- Minimum 5 years of client-facing experience, with at least 2 in project leadership.
- Proven track record of steering complex campaigns, ideally in public health or associations.
- Experience with business development, including proposal development and contracting.
- Ability to travel to client sites and conferences (5-10% of time).
- Superior presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Practice Area Lead and Account Manager for strategic communications projects.
- Oversee end-to-end campaign planning, brand audits, and digital media execution.
- Provide advocacy technical assistance, including legislative tracking and policy brief development.
- Develop strategic vision and resource roadmaps for the practice area.
- Lead business development efforts, including sourcing RFPs and closing new client contracts.
- Mentor and manage Associate and Consultant-level staff.
- Cultivate relationships with public health agencies and community coalitions.
