Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in operations or leadership roles within an accounting firm, or 5+ years of experience in integration and/or project management leadership roles.
- Understanding of accounting firm operations, partner dynamics, workflow models, technology, client service delivery, and regulatory context.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building trust with senior leaders and partner groups.
- High bias toward action, detail-oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel within the United States.
- Previous experience leading integrations or complex cross-functional implementation projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with common accounting firm tech stacks such as CCH or Creative Solutions is preferred.
- Change management or project leadership experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support deal leads and the IMO in executing integration activities for newly acquired firms across accounting, finance, IT, compliance, HR, and operational functions.
- Drive integration projects by setting clear timelines, defining workstreams, tracking milestones, managing risks, and ensuring cross-functional accountability.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and acquired firm leadership teams.
- Coordinate efforts across functional departments, tracking open items and maintaining accountability.
- Execute integration playbooks and provide feedback for continuous improvement, identifying risks and developing solutions.
- Maintain integration status trackers and prepare reporting materials for leadership.
- Support cultural integration elements including partner onboarding, firm communications, and change management.
