Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in product design, UX, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience managing product designers.
- Proven experience managing designers in B2B SaaS, platform, or multi-product environments.
- Exceptional visual craft, interaction design skills, and aesthetic judgment.
- Experience leading or line managing design systems, including component libraries and documentation.
- Experience managing distributed teams across different time zones (experience with India-based teams is a plus).
- Strong product judgment with the ability to balance business outcomes and customer needs.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted production tools and exploratory workflows.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of approximately 8 product designers across US and India.
- Elevate design quality through critiques, performance management, and clear development plans.
- Lead design execution for core platform experiences and native mobile surfaces.
- Oversee design system strategy, adoption, and governance to improve consistency and speed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, and Support teams.
- Model high-velocity workflows, including the adoption of AI-assisted design and production tools.
