Requirements
- Active Secret clearance is required.
- 2+ years of experience in software or web development with production-level applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS, with experience building responsive and reusable UI components.
- Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs and working with backend technologies such as Java, Python, Node.js, or similar frameworks.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts, including data modeling and query-based applications.
- Familiarity with state management tools such as Redux or React Context and experience building complex, data-intensive interfaces.
- Experience with Git-based development workflows, testing practices, and collaborative engineering environments.
- Strong ability to translate technical and non-technical requirements into effective software solutions in a team-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Translate legacy system functionality into modern web-based solutions by analyzing existing workflows, forms, queries, and business logic, ensuring accurate migration and continuity of operations.
- Design and develop responsive front-end applications using React, implementing reusable components, dynamic interfaces, dashboards, and data-driven views for complex datasets.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services, migrating legacy logic into scalable, secure, and maintainable application layers integrated with relational databases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture, user workflows, system requirements, and technical documentation aligned with cybersecurity and federal standards.
- Implement authentication, role-based access controls, and security best practices to ensure compliance with government and defense cybersecurity requirements.
- Develop and execute testing strategies including unit, integration, and regression testing while supporting validation, defect resolution, and user acceptance testing.
- Support deployment, transition, documentation, and lifecycle maintenance activities including CI/CD, version control, and production support.
