Requirements
- Native or fluent Dutch language skills (spoken and written).
- Basic proficiency in English for internal communications and training purposes.
- Previous experience in customer service, contact centre operations, or a client-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle complex or sensitive customer queries.
- Self-discipline to manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Reliable internet connectivity and a dedicated workspace.
- Positive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Interest or experience within the energy or utilities sector is a distinct asset.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound customer enquiries from Dutch-speaking clients regarding energy products, services, billing, and account management via phone, email, and chat channels.
- Assist customers with questions related to their energy contracts, tariff structures, and consumption data, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all communications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to energy supply, meter readings, payment plans, and service disruptions in a calm, efficient, and customer-focused manner.
- Guide customers through energy-saving options, green energy products, and sustainable tariff transitions in line with Eneco's environmental mission.
- Accurately log all customer interactions, updates, and case resolutions within the company's CRM system, maintaining meticulous records at all times.
- Collaborate with internal teams and escalate complex energy-related technical issues to the appropriate departments when necessary, ensuring swift resolution.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the customer experience, providing feedback to team leaders on recurring issues within the energy service landscape.
