Requirements
- Native or fluent Italian language skills (both spoken and written).
- Valid EU passport (mandatory for employment eligibility).
- Solid command of English for internal communication and reporting.
- Strong computer literacy and ability to navigate CRM platforms and ticketing systems.
- Experience with freight tracking tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
- Previous experience in customer service, logistics support, or freight coordination is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Italian-speaking customers, handling inbound inquiries related to shipments, freight bookings, delivery tracking, and cargo status via phone, email, and live chat.
- Provide accurate, timely, and professional information regarding shipping schedules, transit times, customs documentation requirements, and freight rate queries.
- Assist Italian-speaking clients with the end-to-end management of their shipping orders, including booking confirmations, amendments, and cancellations.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues related to delayed, damaged, or missing shipments.
- Liaise effectively with internal logistics, operations, and warehousing departments to ensure seamless information flow.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all customer interactions within company CRM and freight management systems.
- Proactively communicate shipping updates, service disruptions, or regulatory changes to clients.
