- Experience
- At least one-year experience working in a human resource role or a position that exhibits human resource functions; at least one year of teaching experience.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management, or Leadership.
- Master’s degree in Business with at least 12 graduate hours in human resource course work.
- Proficiency in online asynchronous teaching methodologies.
- Strong time management and performance management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- At least one year of experience in a human resource role (preferred).
- At least one year of teaching experience (preferred).
- Experience working in a Learning Management System (LMS), preferably Blackboard (preferred).
- Human Resource certifications are strongly considered.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate online asynchronous human resources courses.
- Prepare course materials in Blackboard by designated deadlines.
- Provide 12-14 hours per week of instruction, including discussion facilitation, grading, and student outreach.
- Respond to student inquiries and outreach within 48 hours.
- Update grade books weekly and provide detailed, individualized feedback on assignments.
- Participate in required live and asynchronous faculty meetings to maintain scheduling eligibility.
- Use retention tools to monitor and support at-risk students.
