Requirements
- 8+ years of product design experience including setting design direction.
- Demonstrated ability to own visual language, brand, or design practice.
- Strategic thinking capabilities to form points of view and drive product identity.
- Fluency in both brand-led marketing design and data-dense product UI.
- Proven experience building and evolving production design systems.
- Strong visual craft in typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy.
- Deep expertise in Figma components, variables, auto layout, and prototyping.
- Experience designing for multi-persona products with complex user constraints.
- Competency in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Experience experimenting with AI tools in design workflows.
- Effective remote communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel for in-person collaboration sessions.
Responsibilities
- Define the visual identity, design language, and standard of taste across all company interactions.
- Design across consumer acquisition flows, marketing sites, recruiter platforms, and employee/employer admin tools.
- Own and evolve the design system, including maturing components, patterns, and principles.
- Partner with leadership and Product Managers to define product strategy and vision.
- Simplify complex workflows such as HRIS integrations, flow-of-funds, and invoice reconciliation.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research including usability testing and user interviews.
- Apply AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, and design production.
