Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 6+ years of management experience leading sales teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Proven experience managing P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking.
- Strong track record of building and scaling high-performing sales teams in a competitive environment.
- Experience working in cross-functional, global organizations with multiple stakeholder groups.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into strategy.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (such as Salesforce) and sales performance analytics tools.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall sales strategy and execution for the Altair brand portfolio, ensuring alignment with revenue, EBITDA, and market share objectives.
- Own full P&L accountability, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking against financial targets.
- Manage and develop regional sales managers, inside sales leaders, and sales representatives, ensuring strong performance and capability growth.
- Oversee inside sales operations including pipeline management, call cadence, conversion metrics, and sales productivity optimization.
- Leverage CRM tools and analytics (e.g., Salesforce) to monitor performance, forecast trends, and identify growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts while ensuring consistent engagement across the customer base.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, finance, and supply chain teams to develop profitable initiatives and go-to-market strategies.
- Continuously evaluate market trends and competitive dynamics to refine sales strategies and improve execution.
