Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in sales, key account management, or national account leadership roles.
- 2+ years of direct ownership of national or key retail accounts with C-suite or HQ-level engagement.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing complex retail partnerships.
- Strong negotiation and commercial deal-making skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience working in consultative sales environments and building value-based propositions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities across all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and performance data.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute national account strategies focused on expanding presence within convenience store and chain retail channels.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiating contracts with major national and regional accounts.
- Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key retail partners to drive long-term collaboration and growth.
- Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable commercial terms aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and category performance to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure effective execution of trade programs and product availability.
- Track account performance metrics, analyze sales data, and provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Serve as the primary advocate for the brand across all national account interactions, ensuring consistent positioning and execution.
