Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail sales, supply chain, or related B2B sales environments.
- Proven success managing complex sales cycles and closing strategic business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, commercial negotiations, and customer relationship management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel, throughout the assigned territory.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Preferred: experience within retail, packaging, perishables, or related industries.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to business development.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for strategic retail accounts, building trusted partnerships with stakeholders ranging from distribution center teams to executive leadership.
- Drive adoption of reusable packaging solutions by demonstrating operational, financial, and sustainability benefits across customer supply chains.
- Collaborate with cross-functional sales and business development teams to align retailer and supplier engagement strategies.
- Lead RFP responses, contract negotiations, and account planning activities to maximize long-term revenue and profitability.
- Identify, develop, and execute new business opportunities by managing product trials, pilot programs, and customer onboarding initiatives.
- Conduct supply chain, cost, and profitability analyses to develop compelling business cases and support strategic customer decisions.
- Maintain an active pipeline of growth opportunities while ensuring steady progress toward customer adoption and expansion goals.
- Travel regularly to customer locations to strengthen relationships, support implementations, and advance strategic initiatives.
