Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a community, DevRel, Event, or field marketing role.
  • Hands-on experience organizing trade shows, conferences, or community events, including booth management, vendor coordination, and on-site execution.
  • Experience running community programs such as advocacy, ambassador, or certification.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and programs simultaneously.
  • Experience negotiating contracts and managing logistics across different regions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a distributed, fast-moving team as a self-starter.
  • Experience in Agentic AI or Cloud-Native industries (bonus).
  • Proficiency with workflows, automations, and agentic tooling (bonus).

Responsibilities

  • Design and drive community advocacy and recognition programs to maintain long-term engagement.
  • Manage ambassador and certification paths for community members across internal and external tracks.
  • Execute end-to-end presence at third-party conferences and community events like KCD, DevOpsDays, SREcon, and CloudNativeCon.
  • Organize regional meetups and social events in a repeatable format across EMEA, APAC, AMER, and LATAM.
  • Oversee the community experience and customer swag program.
  • Launch and scale new community programs as the Kimchi product grows.
