Requirements
- Deep understanding of the Scrum Guide and Agile Manifesto.
- Operating at or close to an agile-coach level (not early-career).
- Proven experience in coaching and facilitating without authority.
- In-depth knowledge of agile metrics and data interpretation for improvement.
- Fluency in scaling options (e.g., scrum-of-scrums).
- Ability to manage stakeholders under scrutiny and escalate concerns effectively.
- Experience designing and running workshops, mindset exercises, and games (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to help teams move from a 'cost-centre' mindset to a mission-driven approach.
Responsibilities
- Guide the team on Scrum and the Agile Manifesto; facilitate core ceremonies in a hands-off style.
- Build self-managing teams by creating a safe environment that allows for experimentation and growth.
- Partner with the Product Owner to coach them on agile boundaries, backlog ordering, and value creation.
- Own and utilize agile metrics to surface insights and drive continuous improvement.
- Use data evidence to push back on unrealistic delivery dates and protect team flow.
- Manage stakeholders under executive scrutiny, operating within escalation pathways.
- Drive long-term maturity across teams and support other Scrum Masters across the organization.
