Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Mathematics, Finance, or a related business field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in life and annuity product implementation or similar implementation support.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects in a complex insurance environment.
  • Experience utilizing an agile framework for product development and implementation.
  • Deep technical and operational knowledge of life insurance and annuity products and administration systems.
  • In-depth understanding of NAIC/state insurance laws, product forms, and life and annuity filing processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in technical and operational contexts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements for business partners.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Proficiency with life insurance or annuity product knowledge (Indexed UL and Fixed Indexed Annuity experience preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product implementation efforts of new life and annuity products, enhancements to existing products, and system remediation updates.
  • Support the strategic delivery of the overall Product Roadmap to meet timing and milestones from development and implementation deliverables.
  • Partner with product development, pricing, and rate setting teams during the early ideation stages of product development.
  • Create test tools and product mechanic test strategies to ensure accurate and timely product roadmap delivery.
  • Support implementation efforts within an agile framework by identifying and resolving blockers and managing the work pipeline.
  • Build cross-functional stakeholder engagement strategies and collaborate on solutions for new products.
  • Manage the creation and integration of product requirements into administration, proposal systems, and other upstream/downstream systems.
  • Support business-as-usual tasks including data analysis, competitive intelligence, and review of marketing materials.
