Requirements
- 5+ years building modern web applications end to end
- Proficiency with Go and HTMX, plus Python
- Experience building and owning distributed, asynchronous systems including queuing and background processing
- Hands-on AI knowledge including LLMs, RAG (such as pgvector), prompt engineering, and model routing (such as OpenRouter)
- Experience with AI frameworks like LangChain and shipping AI-driven features in production
- Experience with agentic coding workflows
- Strong track record of end-to-end project ownership from scoping to launch
- Product-engineer mindset with focus on user experience and metrics
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Effective documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Design and ship the internal tools, automations and platforms that remove bottlenecks across Yazio, owning the full stack from web apps to distributed, async job processing systems
- Drive discovery with internal stakeholders, marketing, localization, user success and others, to uncover their biggest bottlenecks and ship tailored solutions that eliminate manual work
- Build and scale our AI driven systems, such as our Creative Automation System (automated creative uploads and ad creation) and Content Generation System (production grade AI translations), bringing the latest AI capabilities, LLMs, RAG and agents, into production
- Apply cutting edge AI to how you work, using agentic coding and AI assistants to build and ship fast while maintaining a high bar for quality and safety
- Make key technical decisions and design robust, distributed and maintainable architectures, including queuing, asynchronous processing and the reliability our automations depend on
- Own your work end to end, from scoping and stakeholder alignment through delivery, measurement and iteration, anticipating downstream effects and removing roadblocks proactively
- Raise the bar for the team, mentor others in software design and process automation, document clearly and help shape how Yazio adopts new AI technology
