Requirements
- Must be a recent graduate of Ross University School of Medicine.
- Must have an M.D. degree and have completed all clinical rotations.
- Must have graduated within twelve months prior to the start date.
- Must have first attempt passing scores on USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK.
- Satisfactory or better grades in all activities undertaken as an RUSM student.
- Strong teaching or tutoring skills and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Commitment to work until June 2027.
- Ability to work 40 hours a week on average, including evenings or weekends if necessary.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior faculty in all areas of board preparation and academic success support for students.
- Deliver individualized tutoring and schedule regular individual academic advising sessions.
- Present NBME MCQ reviews in large-group tutoring sessions.
- Provide mentorship to clinical students and maintain close communication regarding performance.
- Support large group interactive learning activities under the guidance of the Academic Student Support Coordinator.
- Create student academic resources such as presentations, videos, and electronic materials.
- Engage in weekly Step 1 progress support outreach and act as a point of contact for student questions.
