Requirements
- Early career experience in technical product management practices (requirements development, feature creation, UAT, software development).
- Experience with operating systems management software, platform telemetry, or observability platforms.
- Data scientist skill set in defining information and metrics to meet business needs.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to both C-level executives and technical engineers.
- Experience working in a SaaS, PaaS, cloud service, or hosting provider environment.
- Understanding of how to leverage AI tools for predictive analytics and trend analysis.
- Experience managing proactive monitoring systems and telemetry dashboards like Nexthink or ServiceNow.
Responsibilities
- Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making using product metering, telemetry, and customer feedback.
- Define the product roadmap for end-to-end telemetry and customer engagement strategy.
- Assess, evaluate, and compare the portfolio of telemetry, billing, and metering solutions.
- Define telemetry required to support commercial strategies, including subscription enforcement and usage-based models.
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to translate metrics into insights for pricing, adoption, and sales.
- Develop and deliver business reviews and product roadmaps aligned with business drivers.
- Provide thought leadership on building and scaling observability platforms for enterprise operating systems.
- Ensure data privacy, security, and auditability requirements are addressed with IT and security teams.
- Represent Red Hat Enterprise Linux at industry and customer events.
