Requirements
- 7+ years of experience engineering data integrations and pipelines across complex enterprise ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience architecting ingestion patterns into AWS S3.
- Deep commitment to modern data engineering standards including idempotent pipelines, data lineage, and schema validation.
- Proven track record designing data pipelines and schemas for a cloud data warehouse.
- Direct experience working in a public company environment with rigid data governance and SOX compliance.
- Experience operating within an Agile framework (Jira).
- Mastery of data standards, governance, and security.
- Hands-on experience with ERPs (e.g., NetSuite) or financial platforms (e.g., Coupa, Zip) is a plus.
- Experience with iPaaS tools (e.g., Workato) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the evolution of existing integrations toward a modern, orchestrated architecture.
- Design, build, and scale robust data pipelines into a cloud data warehouse, integrating data from enterprise systems (ERP/EPM/Treasury/HR).
- Set the long-term technical direction for the financial data warehouse and analytics strategy.
- Establish automated reconciliation logic, data quality frameworks, and monitoring within Workato/Tines to ensure data accuracy and SOX compliance.
- Implement engineering best practices including version control, CI/CD, error handling, and security standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and HR to automate technical solutions for reporting and compliance requirements.
