Requirements
- Significant experience building and managing strategic partnerships, business development relationships, or alliance programs.
- Experience in enterprise software, cloud, and/or AI sectors.
- Track record of being in the details and operating as a single-threaded owner for strategy and execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project and program management skills to organize complex workstreams.
- Technical fluency in software development, platform integrations, and the AI/ML landscape.
- Ability to engage engineering and product counterparts in substantive conversations.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders, including preparing executive briefings.
- Ability to influence without formal authority across internal and external teams.
- Familiarity with the DevSecOps ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary owner and point of contact for one hyperscaler and one major AI lab.
- Develop and drive multi-year partnership strategies and joint plans connecting business priorities, product roadmap, and AI strategy.
- Build strong working relationships across partner organizations, including executives, product management, engineering, sales, and marketing.
- Run a disciplined operating cadence across complex initiatives with clear priorities, timelines, and coordination.
- Coordinate cross-functional work inside GitLab, aligning product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams.
- Translate partner opportunities into actionable internal plans, including roadmap and integration needs.
- Track and communicate measurable outcomes such as pipeline influence, ARR impact, and integration progress.
- Represent partnerships at the executive level by preparing briefings and driving alignment on investments.
