Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in strategic data analytics, business intelligence, or analytics engineering.
- Expert-level SQL proficiency.
- Advanced, hands-on experience structuring core warehouse schemas using dbt.
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Metabase, Tableau, or Lightdash.
- Deep expertise in digital marketing data ecosystems, including ad platforms, event tracking, and lifecycle platforms.
- Understanding of identity resolution processes (e.g., stitching top-of-funnel cookies to user IDs).
- Proven track record supporting high-growth or Performance Marketing teams.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Active use of AI-powered tools to automate tasks and maximize technical velocity.
- Strong self-starter capable of managing ambiguous business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the Marketing data reporting layer and execute a multi-quarter technical roadmap.
- Design and optimize core Marketing data models within dbt to create an integrated source of truth.
- Empower Marketing stakeholders with automated, high-fidelity pacing models and diagnostic tools.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between Growth Marketing and Data Engineering.
- Mentor peer analysts, lead code reviews, and establish dbt modeling standards.
- Drive complex analyses on multi-touch attribution, marketing mix modeling, LTV, and incrementality testing.
- Champion modern analytics engineering practices and AI-accelerated workflows.
