Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in strategic data analytics, business intelligence, or analytics engineering.
- Proven track record supporting high-growth or performance marketing teams.
- Expert-level SQL proficiency.
- Advanced, hands-on experience structuring core warehouse schemas using dbt.
- Proficiency with BI tools such as Looker, Metabase, Tableau, or Lightdash.
- Deep expertise in digital marketing data ecosystems including ad platforms, event tracking, and lifecycle platforms.
- Understanding of identity resolution (e.g., stitching top-of-funnel cookies to known user IDs).
- Ability to break down complex technical concepts for executive and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to maximize technical velocity.
- Demonstrated autonomy and ability to thrive in ambiguous business environments.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategic roadmap, data architecture, and analytical execution for the Marketing domain.
- Design and optimize core Marketing data models within dbt to create an integrated, full-funnel source of truth.
- Empower marketing stakeholders with automated pacing models and diagnostic tools for media-spend optimization.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between Growth Marketing and Data Engineering for identity resolution and API integrations.
- Maintain enterprise-grade data models and interactive dashboards in BI tools like Lightdash.
- Mentor peer analysts, lead code reviews, and establish dbt modeling standards.
- Drive complex analyses on multi-touch attribution, marketing mix modeling, and client lifetime value.
- Champion modern analytics engineering practices and AI-accelerated workflows to increase team velocity.
